Talk to someone in the same boat about...

Brisbane’s annual riverside MS Moonlight Walk is back! This year’s walk will be on a Saturday evening, and will see the Brisbane community get active and celebrate our great city like never before.

Choose between a leisurely and safe 5km or 10km walk as the sun sets and the moon rises.  Walkers on both courses will be supported by course marshals, volunteers and refreshment stations.  The 5km course is wheelchair friendly, and walkers can choose to do a shorter distance if they would prefer.

Celebrating it’s 20th anniversary, the Walk to Fight MS raises much needed funds to support the thousands of Queenslanders living with MS.  Starting from the Cultural Forecourt at South Bank Parklands, wander the banks of the Brisbane River by moonlight.

Each walker receives their very own lantern to illuminate our belief that no one should face MS alone.  It’s a spectacular sight to witness the sea of lanterns as our 10km walkers stroll under the illuminated Kangaroo Point Cliffs, and over the Story Bridge.  Afterwards, walkers make their way through Brisbane’s lush Botanic Gardens before crossing the Goodwill Bridge and back to South Bank Parklands.

After the walk, stay and enjoy the celebrations at South Bank where there will be delicious food and drinks available, live entertainment and lots of cheers as we welcome our inspirational walkers across the finish line.

The MS Moonlight Walk is the perfect event to enjoy time with family and friends and celebrate your achievements.

This year we are aiming to raise a sensational $600,000 for people living with MS and to have over 4,000 walkers taking part in the walk to fight MS.

Spread the word and get your family, friends and colleagues on board to join thousands of proud Queenslanders as we step out to raise funds to fight multiple sclerosis.
